For Valentines Day, I traced my 3 year old son’s hands, which took about an hour to get him to hold still, and sent off to family members. I positioned his hands so that there was a heart in the middle and had him embellish them with heart stickers. My son loved putting stickers on and ‘helping!’ Happy late Vday y’all!
My 2nd project was making tissue paper tassel garland. They are super simple to make and look really cute under my daughters mermaid wall sticker above her crib! She needed some white on that dark gray wall.
Here is a great tutorial on how to make them from HGTV: http://www.hgtv.com/design/make-and-celebrate/entertaining/make-your-own-tissue-paper-tassel-garland

I am a member of Influenster!
Here is a little scoop from their website: Influenster is a community of trendsetters, social media masterminds, and educated consumers who live to give opinions of products and experiences.
Influenster invites its most active members to participate in exclusive VoxBox programs where members receive complimentary products to test and review. In exchange, we ask our members to do what they already love to do: share their opinions with their friends & followers on social media.
Here is a pic of my latest VoxBox below! I am slowly starting to try all of my VoxBox products and will be updating this post as I have more opinions.
Blueberry almonds: My husband ate the almonds in .5 seconds, so I am just going to assume that those are delicious! LOL! Or maybe he was starving?? Probably a little of both!
ProFoot Pedi-Rock: I gave this a whirl the other night in the bath and it worked really well! Its much easier to use because its not as hard as a pumice stone. This product is more of a soft scrub and it fits in your hand nicely due to the shape. I will try it a few more times and keep you updated!
Playtex Tampons: I am pregnant, so I wont be able to give you any info on these for quite some time. 🙂
I was brainstorming ways to grow herbs for my husband, whom is a chef, and yes, I am spoiled I know, and I came up with this idea. We drilled holes in the bottom of a Ball jar that we had in the cupboard, added some white rocks that we collected on the beach near our home, then dirt, then the thyme! Boom! Cute planter for herbs. I am super pumped to be growing herbs verse paying $5+ for a package that we use half of and throw out. Super wasteful! Plus, its cute and sits in our glass window off the kitchen which is perfect for growing! I plan on doing several of these! Parsley is next!
Happy growing!

When I first heard that you can grow lettuce by simply putting your lettuce bottom in water, I was thinking to myself ‘why in gods name doesn’t everyone do this?!’ How is this not standard in every household to just grow yourself a head of lettuce with the bottom of the last one?! Maybe the lettuce is bitter? Maybe it doesn’t work? I am not sure, but I will tell you one thing, I am giving it a whirl! See the pic above. To be continued as far as the the lettuce taste…..
